Thank you so much for this Gurdeep- one of the benefits of getting older is the ability to look back and wish I had appreciated things more in the past- I use that now to help me appreciate things more in the present.

I love that in your videos and photos you are almost always in or near water. Soothing, renewing.

Lovely writing like this has made me wonder how your book is coming Mr.P. Has there been a publication date set?

Hello Mr. Thompson, at some point in 2026.

Being "worthy" and/or "deserving" of joy has been my struggle. Always putting it off until...

“Authentic joy isn't some glittering trophy awaiting you at the finish line of achievement”

Can be another way to find myself a failure on a daily basis. Slowly learning that peace is always available when I pay attention to the moment at hand instead of wishing for something else.

Still learning!

I love this, I am learning to embrace the small moments, those so called big things come and go, but its the journey that we remember the most and learn from, and that matters the most

What a lovely article, Gurdeep! I loved every word. I used to think I had to wait for the “perfect moment” to do the things I wanted, but I’m so glad I’ve moved past that. Now I just focus on what matters to me, what makes me happy, and I go for it. I used to save new shoes or clothes for special occasions, but now I wear whatever I like, whenever I want.

I always look forward to reading your articles, Gurdeep. Just wanted to say a big thank you for sharing your thoughts and light!

Loved these words so much: Don't hibernate your joy until spring's thaw, don't trap your happiness like gold yet unmined from frozen earth, don't let your spirit remain dormant like seeds beneath winter snow. The wilderness of this moment—rugged and raw as it may be—is where true joy stakes its claim. Like the resilient fireweed that transforms scarred landscapes into fields of purple majesty, your capacity for joy thrives not in perfect conditions, but in your willingness to bloom exactly where you stand.

"Like daffodils dancing beneath the great celestial vault, true joy dwells not in the gilded halls of fortune nor the marble pedestals of achievement, but in the humble wanderer's heart that perceives celestial radiance amidst nature's most somber hours."

You have no idea how wonderfully this line hits me right now. Love your posts.

My experience has me believing in an omnipresent God and our journey to Self Realization, especially the challenging parts of our journey, are an opportunity to express God also known as Love unconditionally and selflessly.
