We'll Be Just Fine, I Think, Eventually
Today's article is a bit informal, born purely out of love for Canada.
Dear, Canada 🍁
I think we'll be just fine.
Yes, this will hurt. It probably will hurt a lot. But we'll use our pain to become more resilient, creative, passionate, and innovative. We won't just cry about it—we'll learn from it and grow stronger. We'll stand tall and proud.
We'll be just fine, I think, eventually.
We need to stick together and work harder to reduce our dependency on the U.S. Let’s find new friends and new ways to work. Let's be innovative, passionate, wonderful, and creative. Let's use this pain to lead us to find new ways to work. The world loves us—we'll be just fine. The first thing we need to do is set aside our differences.
I don't solely blame the U.S.—I also blame ourselves for becoming overly dependent on them. It's like in an unbalanced family: when one member holds all the power and others are dependent, it creates a toxic environment. The powerful member knows others rely on them. When the powerful member recognizes that others also have strength, they behave differently. In the same way, by relying too heavily on the U.S., we've created an unhealthy power dynamic. To break free, we need to unite, work with new partners, trust in ourselves, and explore new horizons.
In a perfect world, everyone would work together collaboratively. There shouldn't be wars or barriers between countries. We're all living on one small planet in a vast universe, yet we create such enormous problems. We should first try to talk and work things out, but when that doesn't work and bullies keep pushing, we need to take action.
There are 195 countries in the world, and I am sure many of them would be eager to work with us. We simply need to reach out, explore new possibilities, start conversations, and build national/regional teams to identify new partnerships. For those hesitant about new collaborations, remember: we're part of a global family. Don't confine yourself within walls. Step outside, breathe fresh air—the world is ready to embrace you, and you're ready to shine.
We definitely need to diversify our approaches and ways of working.
Yes, don't forget about joy, because joy is even more needed during tough times. So, let me share a joyful video:
Hey Canada, I know what I'm saying may not be easy—it needs lots of thinking, planning, and work. But it is possible and very important; otherwise, we'll have to live under these pressures forever. As a bonus, we will have many new friends.
To friends, we're as sweet as our maple syrup; to bullies, we're as strong as our timber.
I send joy, hope, and positivity to Canadians from coast to coast to coast. I also include those American people who think differently and love their neighbours.
We'll be just fine, I think, eventually. 🍁

I’m so sorry Gurdeep and all our Canadian allies that our current administration has decided that this is the way to treat other countries, especially those who have stood by us for so long.
I agree you should reduce your reliance on the US. We are completely undependable right now! I wish California was part of Canada!
