Religions, Originally Founded To Provide Inner Peace And Comfort, Have Now Evolved Into Something Different
If your religion encourages hate or violence towards others, it can no longer be considered a religion.
Indeed, we are currently witnessing an alarming escalation of tensions around the globe. Religions, originally founded to provide solace, inner peace, and comfort, are now, becoming significant sources of division and hatred among global communities. Even worse, these same religions, once symbols of love and unity, are now catalysts for inhuman acts and wars.
Religions, originally meant to provide inner peace and comfort, are now becoming significant sources of division, hatred, and even inhumanity and wars. If your religion encourages violence towards others, it can no longer be considered a religion. In its purest form, religion should promote love, understanding, and peace among all.
Humanity has also suffered from categories, classes and casts created by religions. These classes have placed people around the world into separate boxes, causing emotional separation and doubt towards others. This situation has created unnecessary distances among people who were supposed to belong to each other.
Religious buildings are often made of expensive materials, despite religions preaching for people to be non-materialistic. These heavily guarded buildings have become symbols of ostentation, ego, pride, politics, and greed. There is a contradiction when religious leaders advocate simplicity but themselves lead extravagant lifestyles.
If you discover a belief or idea that propels humanity forward, promotes inner peace, and encourages understanding and care, then that new path is ready for you to embark upon. It could be a personal philosophy, a fresh perspective, or a unique interpretation of an existing belief system. It might be your favorite spot in nature or that great hike, the melody of birdsong, the soothing sound of a flowing river, or the rustle of leaves in a forest. As long as it fosters inner peace and comfort, it's worth exploring.
Embrace the sentiment of love and kindness for all! Let us strive to love all beings unconditionally, for love has the power to transform and heal. Joy emerges when we view people without the lens of their religions. To illustrate this, I'd like to share my video. I'm confident it will evoke positive feelings in you, as it features a unique blend of bagpipes and the dhol drum, symbolizing harmony among cultures:
Lastly, by writing this article, my goal is not to single out one or two religions. Rather, it is simply about any religion that continues to contribute to human suffering. Let's concentrate on fostering global joy and hope by keeping the great religion of humanity and compassion at the forefront of our hearts.

Well said Gurdeep. Our world is regressing yet again and I am sad to bear witness
I so agree with your thoughts. Why do humans feel that if you’re not with me, you’re against me? You would think that we’d celebrate our uniqueness, our differences.
