We all belong to one race called “Humanity”. Very True! And there’s only one planet for us to live on. I wish and pray that more and more people become kinder and gentler with each other so that together we make this planet a better place for everyone. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful article with us. 🙏🏽

North Bay- I've been there too Gurdeep. One thing about travel is you find the commonality of which you speak so eloquently. "Togetherness has the power to bring more joy into our lives."

Your message is timeless and without borders. Dance on my friend.

Yes Gurdeep we are all part of humanity unfortunately people in general forget this fact. It’s our own emotions and reactions to what we think that perpetuate the bias that exists in the world today. Our need to feel apart from other human beings in a world that gives value to being different from each other instead of enforcing the notion that our differences are all part of the human experience not to be judged or condemned as something apart from being equal to being human.

The wars that are waged today cannot be justified by the sane, however, they are justified by the collective insanity that needs to exist in order to justify the individuals who wage them. We are a species that needs to pick sides so that we can justify our own sense of belonging to a cause or a group that holds the same dysfunctional notions about others. This need to belong is part of being human however if left unbridled or undefined can be as destructive as isolation.

We must have our governments refuse to see wars and mass killings of innocents as an option in solving political differences and enforce peace as the only option available to us as human beings to solve our differences. When we are children we are taught that violence does not solve anything, fighting in the school yard is not tolerated. How can we teach our children this ideal and the turn around and wage wars to solve our world issues, this in itself only reinforces the idea that violence is acceptable and an option. This is quite confusing for children and parents who try to instil peaceful doctrines in our youth.

Our own existence as humans is being challenged by this collective insanity, may God help us.

TERRIFIC!!! I love Celtic music and I can definitely see how it fits with your dancing. Also your words are so true. We all must do our best to be POSITIVE and encourage positivity. We can't be expected to love or like everyone but we should respect people and try to understand them. Sometimes if a particular person puts me off I try to look at them as if they were a small child - somebody's little boy or little girl and then I can feel more kindly toward them. Those people who are selfish and self-centred usually receive our contempt but perhaps they should be pitied for not having learned to be a better person.
