Wonderfully said. Negative emotions scare me. But I will learn to be a detective & spend more time asking them what they've come to tell me, what they need me to learn. Thank you for this thought-provoking lesson. So glad I read this today! Blessings!
It is so inspiring to hear that someone as joyful as you has been through such dark times. I think you are so right that we must learn to deal with suffering in our society & not just repress these things. Also extremely beautiful video- thank you!☺️
Your thoughts for today have touched my heart. We can always learn from our experiences, both good and bad. Thank you for your insights and inspiration.
All I have to say is “Wow”! What a beautifully written article! You describe my descent so well from your own experience. Only, I did fall to the very bottom. I had gone and lost my mind. Went to the psych ward many times. My resilience is slow in coming but 2 and a half years ago, I discovered God all over again but more personal. It is He that keeps me going and my sister, too! Your article reminds me a bit, if not a lot, of a book I’m currently reading called “No Bad Parts” by Richard C. Schwartz, PhD. I’m near the end of the book. It talks about each of us having different parts and it’s important to embrace each part. Even the ones you want to resist or ignore. That’s why the book is called “No Bad Parts” because the author believes all parts of oneself have good intentions, no matter how misguided they may be. Thank you for sharing your deep struggles with us, Gurdeep! It’s always a pleasure reading your articles. I love you! ❤️
Such welcome wisdom as I continue to navigate a health journey. Plus, the music and coastline of CB are in my blood, so a welcome return as well. Thank you

Needed this today. Thank you.
This resonates so deeply for me, and your words have struck a chord in my heart. Blessed be the darkness, the shadow. It points us to the light. 🙏🏼
Thank you Gurdeep! Really appreciate this perspective 🤓
