I have to continue to believe that our actions to those in our immediate lives and communities is the hope for working towards a peace filled world. We can't control the distant stories removed from our own reality but we can use the seeds of love we were gifted to spark light in infinite spirits around us. Thanks for shining your light Gurdeep.

Sounds pretty close to a matriarchal society. Lets go! Where do we sign up?

War is and always will be the actions of power hungry individuals bent on forcing their beliefs and edicts on the unsuspecting world. Their hidden agenda is meant to confuse us leading us to believe that the war they wage on others is for our good, when in reality it is meant to line the pockets of like minded cohorts.

Unfortunately no one ever asks us, the general population whether we want war. Who would want to see their children, mothers, grandfathers and other loved ones killed in the name of a group of men bent on exacting their uncontrolled egos on the victims they create.

We can never have peace in this world as long as we continue to kill through war, this only perpetuates the anger that is prevalent in the world today. It is important for us as individuals to recognize that peace is an ideal that can only become a reality if we denounce war and violence of any kind for any reason. War is a collective insanity that only exists because as humans we cannot accept the many things that make us different and ignore the fact that we are all human. Our differences divide us, blind us to our shared humanity. The world is a living organism which also is being slowly killed every time bombs are dropped, our world like us feels and reacts to this violence.

I hope that one day we can take these resources that we fervently expend to produce weapons to kill and redirect these finances to feed people and create a safe world where our children can have hope for a future that is devoid of this collective insanity that we call war.

This perfectly and succinctly sums up the absurdity and futility of our ongoing human use of war.

Thank you Gurdeep.

I love that you dance with members of the military rather than hate them! This is the way, I feel.

I love your work! You have articulated something I have believed for a very long time. You may find this story to be interesting!! It's about a person who injured himself severely trying to create a better gunpowder and who tried to convince Abdu'l-Baha on the merits of his work!

Gwyn Dyer said in his book "Climate Wars" that the next great war will be fought because of climate change. People fighting to control water and arable land that are becoming scarce due to droughts, floods , storms and wildfires. People fighting to keep climate refugees out. We need to throw everything behind a peaceful transition to green energy and helping people adapt to a new reality. When I heard Dyer speak about his book the dangers of climate change really hit home for me. 🥺

"...politicians who manage to gain or retain power through the chaos of conflict..." Elections are opportunities for peace-loving voters to request an alternative way, a way that recognizes well- being as a metric. We know a better way, we must choose it. Thanks Gurdeep for continuing to dance the dance of Joy, Hope and Positivity.
