Wonderful…something rather Scottish about this, is it pipes playing? Gorgeous ending, thank you🤗❤️💙🕊️

You’ve used beautiful metaphors Gurdeep! I loved reading your article and resonated with everything you’ve written. I also believe that it’s everyone’s own individual journey. It’s the broader perspective and self awareness that makes life easier otherwise there are many things to get bothered by.

Thank you for sharing!

PS: Sunset Bhangra looks amazing!

You are a gem! Keep up the positive stuff. This crappy world needs it! 😃

This is so beautiful, thank you. I have saved it as I know I will want to refer to it often. Your dancing in the sunset is what pure joy looks like 😊

I have struggled with rejection and how to reframe it, I love this article, some great ways to understand rejection and moving on from it.

This article spoke directly to pain and anger I have been grappling with and gave me a deep breath and feeling of relief. Thank you! I love your dancing, too!

My life experience has me believing that the purpose of life is to be Self Realized... that you are a part of the Omnipresent God and not apart from God/ ALL things happen for us and not to you... we can choose to let our impotent ego self respond (eg wants to be apart from God) or we can choose to let our Higher/ God self respond with Divine Love... the value of a diamond is a function of the pressure it endured. Welcome the pressure and turn it over to God...we of our ego selves can do nothing according to the Jewish Carpenter.

I love the sunset and dancing like a prayer to the close of day. Can you recommend CDs of Indian music I can buy on Amazon. (I don't like mp3) I've been a fan of Ravi Shankar, but I'd like some authentic Bollywood music to try some dance moves like yours!

So well said and a good reminder to keep everything in perspective. The older I get the more I understand this. 🌞

This provocative posting made me think of how we too often let others set the standards by which we live. I can applaud someone's positive behaviour w/o making it my own. A standard that I choose may not be high enough for my neighbour but it is good enough for me. That must not make me guilty for not living up to their expectations. Trying to live up to the Joneses might make you a slave to the Joneses. They may then be able to manipulate you, if you catch my drift.

Thank you for your article, Gurdeep! So basically, bend with the flow of people, if I understand right. This is a good lesson to learn. I have improved my listening skills with others. I usually like to listen more than talk. But the dance thing, I didn’t think of applying it with others’ journeys. I’m a terrible dancer. I move to the beat of my own drum. Not in synch with others at all, except my wonderful younger sister!
