Video: Sadness is inherent to our human condition, but joy requires intentional cultivation and learning to peacefully coexist with our sorrows.

We come into this world with the capacity for sadness as part of our human nature, but finding joy requires conscious effort and dedication and learning to find how to co-exist with sadness.

Like shadows intertwined with our souls, sadness remains our companion through life's journey, while joy—that delicate butterfly—must be coaxed with open palms, cultivated in gardens of gratitude, and embraced as we learn the sacred dance of holding both our sorrows and our light in the same gentle hands.
